Covering Adur District Council and the constituency of East Worthing & Shoreham

Adur Liberal Democrats are fighting for the rights and interests of local residents. We are campaigning on local issues across Lancing, Shoreham, Sompting and Southwick, as well as being part of the county-wide Liberal Democrat group working for you at County Hall. Among our current issues are:

  • Opposing Conservative plans to dig up Lancing Beach Green, disrupting our enjoyment of this seafront area for years
  • Making sure the people of Adur have the final say on the proposed merger with Worthing, and that any such merger will not involved drastic cuts to services
  • Campaigning for more local powers to deal with mobile phone masts being installed near schools, hospitals and residential areas.
  • The proposed expansion of Shoreham Airport, and its impact on local communities
This year, the people of Adur have a chance to make their voices heard, with elections to Parliament and to West Sussex County Council.  On this website you can see what we are doing in the News and Campaigns folders, find out who to contact if you have a problem in the People folder, or get in touch via the Contacts folder if you want to help us work for Worthing.
Steve Martin, Chairman of East Worthing & Adur Liberal Democrats
